Stanford Business Matters
News and perspectives from the GSB community around the world
From the Dean
Just a few months ago, nearly 500 new MBA and MSx students arrived at the GSB from more than 300 organizations in 70 countries, creating one of the most globally-diverse communities in our school’s history. The range of experiences and perspectives they bring to our community is invaluable as we educate principled leaders who will make a positive impact on people and organizations worldwide.

In this issue of Business Matters, we explore the reach of the GSB’s global programs and how these activities bring together students, faculty, alumni, and others as part of the experiential learning process. I hope you will be inspired as you read about our students, professors, coaches, and even your former classmates, as they pursue adventures and represent Stanford and the GSB across the globe.
